Transplant Nephrologist

Position Overview:
• We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Transplant Nephrologist to join our rapidly
growing transplant program in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This is a unique opportunity to work

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive care to kidney transplant patients, including pre-transplant
evaluation, post-transplant management, and long-term follow-up.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including surgeons, advanced practitioners and
transplant coordinators, to deliver exceptional care to patients.
• Collaborate with kidney, heart, and lung transplantation teams as part of a highly innovative
program.
• Participate in paired kidney exchange programs through the National Kidney Registry.
• Engage in clinical research and academic activities to contribute to the growth and
reputation of the transplant program.
• Offer compassionate and patient-focused care in a collaborative healthcare environment.

Required Qualifications:
• Board certification or eligibility in Nephrology
• Experience managing kidney transplant patients across all phases of care.
• Strong knowledge of current evidence-based practices in Transplant Nephrology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients and
multidisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate, and patient-centered care.
